Requirements
  • Consulting service during early stages of project development in which requirements definition process is performed, including:
    • Study of inputs provided by customer, defining the technical approach from which the project target could be addressed and detecting critical requirements to be considered during the development.
    • Definition of requirements that may compromise the system operation under the conditions defined by the application for which the system is intended.
Analysis
  • Generation of specifications from user requirements.
  • Identification of weaknesses and potential improvements with the customer.
Components Selection
  • Appropriate selection of components in order to implement the required functionalities in a efficient manner.
  • Based on metrics such as cost, performance and power consumption as well as physical and environmental constraints.
  • Utilization of the most suitable computing devices adapted to every scenario: microcontrollers (8 16 and 32 bits), microprocessors from different manufacturers, FPGAs (Xilinx), soft processors (MicroBlaze), mixed systems (Zynq) or industrial computers.
  • Wired (RS232/RS422/RS485, Ethernet, CAN bus, USB, SPI, I2C...) and wireless communication interfaces (4G, WiFi, ZigBee, Bluetooth, UWB…).
Schematic
  • Design of schematics according to system specifications.
  • Capture of user functionalities into an optimized logical design.
PCB
  • Design and manufacturing according to IPC standards.
  • Layout design taking into account EMI and thermal considerations.
  • Manufacturing and assembly of components.
  • Electrical verification.
Firmware/Software
  • Complete firmware and software implementation, including design, development and testing.
  • Implementation on bare metal, (custom embedded) Linux OS, RTOS (FreeRTOS, MQX…) or Windows.
Mechanical Design
  • Advanced mechanical design for the operation in civil or military applications under harsh environments where reliability is a must.
  • Adapting of existing mechanical designs for system ruggedization, including IP degree improvement according to the standard and/or enhancement of operation temperature range supported by specific thermal analysis.
  • Mechanical integration and miniaturization of prototypes with required form factor.
Validation
  • Definition and execution of procedures for system validation.
  • Advisory service and execution of specific procedures required for the compliance with different standards or legal requirements such as MIL-STD or CE marking.
